| Terms: At the bottom of the Bid page for every item, There is an auction info tab that tells: The auction that the item is in ~ Inspection Times ~ Payment Dates ~ Payment Types ~ Removal Times ~ Sales Taxes ~ Buyer premium Also the Online Auctions Calendar Page Has a “View Info” button listing the Terms and other important info for each auction. Please Read as terms will vary from auction. It is the buyers’ responsibility to know the terms of each auction and the lots they are bidding on. When you bid you are entering into a binding contract. You must be at least 18 years of age to bid. Unlike our live auctions we can’t wave off a mistake and start over with online bidding. We cannot remove mistaken bids short of an act of congress. BE SURE OF WHAT YOU’RE BIDDING ON AND HOW MUCH YOU ARE BIDDING before you hit the “Submit Bid” button. Buyers and Sellers who intentionally submit bogus bids, do not honor their bid commitments, or misrepresent items will at the very least, and at the sole discretion of Lambrecht Auction & Real Estate Co., be excluded from participating in future auctions and further actions may be pending. This is an adult activity, so please take it seriously. Buyers Premium: A buyer’s premium will be added to most purchases. This buyer’s premium may vary from auction to auction and payment for cash or check at pickup may waive all or a portion of it. The actual percentage of the buyer’s premium in effect will be noted on the “View Info” button seen on the Online Auctions calendar page. Sales Tax: All bidders will be subject to state and county sales tax of auction location unless you provide our office with the appropriate exemption certificates . NOTICE: Out-of-state buyers and out-of-country buyers must pay sales tax on all items. Payment: All PayPal payments are due within two business days of auction closing. All other types of payments are due when the items are picked up at the specified location at the specified time. All invoices are to be paid in full. No merchandise can be removed until paid for. Removal: Removal times for every auction are posted on the “View Info” button for that auction. The buyer will bear responsibility for labor and packing materials in picking up his purchase and furthermore agrees to exercise care and diligence in the removal process not to damage the premises. Failure to remove purchases may result in any number of actions, at our sole discretion, the least of which will be removal of bidding privileges on this website. Computers, programs, and people are still far from perfect. We reserve the right to cancel any or all items from any auction where the auction process has been tainted by computer failure, a programming error, or any act by any person(s) that may sabotage the auction process to purchase goods at a less competitive price. Any cancellations of sale will be at the sole discretion of Lambrecht Auction & Real Estate Co. In addition, we reserve the right to suspend or remove any item at any time including after the computer may indicate the item has been sold. In the event of this occurring our liability shall be solely limited to the return of any monies we may have received. All items in the auction sell subject to the Auction Co.’s acceptance or rejection of the high bid. Seller bidding is emphatically discouraged and may result in loss of use privileges of this website. Lambrecht Auction & Real Estate Co. does however reserve the right to place bids on behalf of any and all sellers, if at our sole discretion, we determine that such bids are not in the best interest of the seller or that practices have been employed by unscrupulous bidders to purchase goods at low, non-competitive prices. All bidders understand and agree to abide by these terms. Snype Bidding Preventer: Unique to our online bidding system is the countdown feature. Next to each lot on the bidding screen is a counter counting down the days, hours, minutes, and finally seconds until bidding on that item closes. If a bid is received during that last 3 minutes, the counter will reset with an additional five (5) minutes added to that item’s programmed closing time. This will happen every time a bid is received while the counter is 180 seconds and less. This is our attempt to prevent someone from trying to sneak a bid in during the last millisecond. Bear in mind we cannot be responsible for bids lost during these final seconds due to poor connectivity, slow internet service, too many items closing at once, etc., so bid early, especially on items you might not be able to watch at the end. Inspection: Though we make every effort to describe all items accurately, there is no way possible to give 100% complete information on every item. All items sell AS IS WHERE IS with no warranty of any type expressed or implied as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of any particular item offered for auction. All sales are made on an AS IS - WHERE IS basis with all faults. All buyers are urged to physically inspect items during the inspection period. No bids can be withdrawn after the auction. BUYER agrees that these terms as well as all other terms set forth below, can be amended or revised only in writing, signed by the auctioneer. We cannot warrant that this website will be uninterrupted or error-free; nor do we make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of this site. This website may contain errors or omissions. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to correct any errors or omissions in any portion of this website and may make any other changes to it at any time without notice. We make every reasonable effort to make this website available at all times, however we cannot be responsible for any service interruptions that may affect the sale of items. Do not bid unless you agree to all of the terms above. By bidding you are acknowledging agreement with the terms above.
